Mbaye Art and Sall Lam Toro present a live performance of auto-ecodecolonial acts where they take several visual meanings into corporeality. When Jupiter Child, in their art exhibition “Decolonizing Textiles” asked them on a Saturday in the opening talk what it means to decolonize our own bodies, spirits and minds; they intended to answer with explicit words and acts that confront the ways we have internalized white supremacy, colonial amnesia and avoidance. « Se Nourir, L’esprit » (« To Nurture Oneself, The Spirit » in French) is the duo’s first collaboration.
